David Perez beings his first season as an assistant coach for the UT Permian Basin men's and women's tennis teams in 2025-26.

Perez finished up his collegiate playing career at Jessup University, an NCAA Division II School in Rocklin, California, in the Spring of 2025. Perez previously played at Bakersfield College and Mira Monte High School (Class of 2013), both located in Bakersfield, California.
