PRIOR TO UTPB:  Was a two-year starter at Santa Monica College where he led the conference in steals and was named the Student-Athlete of the Year as a freshman. 
 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Attended LA Jordan High School where he was a two-year player…Helped lead the Bulldogs to an overall record of 47-10 record in two seasons…Averaged 19 points, five steals, four assists and four rebounds a game…Was named the conference MVP as a senior and was named all-conference as a junior and senior…Was on the honor roll.
