2025-26 (Senior):
Started in 23 of 26 games... Led the team with 27 blocks and blocked three shots in a game four times this season... Ranked second on the team in minutes (32.5 mpg), assists per game (2.7 apg), total steals (34) and made 3-pointers (41); was third in made field goals (117), 3-point field goal percentage (35.7) and free throw percentage (73.4); and was fourth in scoring (12.8 ppg), field goal percentage (44.8) and made free throws (58)... Scored in double figures in 20 games... During the regular season he ranked 21st in the LSC in total points, was seventh in total blocks, was 11th in minutes per game, was 18th in made 3-pointers, and was 23rd in both total assists and total steals, showcasing his well-rounded game... Shot 6-for-10 from three while scoring a career-high 25 points in a 115-108 double-overtime win at Cameron (Jan. 10)... Scored 19 points and missed only one shot, going 7-for-8 from the field and 4-for-5 from three in UTPB's first win of the season vs. Western Colorado (Nov. 15). He also added two blocks again the Mountaineers, and had all five of UTPB's blocks through the first two games of the season... Got his teammates involved and dished out a game-high six assists, his third time this season reaching that mark, during UTPB's first game of the River City Holiday Classic vs. Pittsburg State (Dec. 16)... Scored 19 points in UTPB's overtime win at Texas A&M International (Jan. 22)... Scored 21 points and added six rebounds and four steals vs. Angelo State (Jan. 29)... Totaled 18 points and tied for the team-lead with seven rebounds at No. 15 St. Edward's (Feb. 14)... Named to the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll (four straight semesters).

2024-25 (Junior):
Provided a spark to the Falcons’ bench after returning from injury in mid-January... Appeared in 15 games and missed 13 games due to the injury... Scored 11 points to go along with two rebounds and two steals in his return to the court against Lubbock Christian (Jan. 16), his first action in over two months... Scored at least five points in nine games, including in each of the final five games of the season... Made his first start of the season in an 80-58 home victory over UT Tyler (Feb. 20) and started in each of the final three games of the season... Averaged 5.5 points per game while shooting .397 percent from the field... Totaled 19 rebounds (1.3 rpg), 14 assists (0.9 apg) and 14 steals on the season... Totaled a season-high in points (14) and steals (4) at Adam's State (Nov. 10)... Named to the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll... Was named to the 2024-25 NABC Honor's Court... Earned 2025 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.

Midland College (2023-24):
Played in 26 games and drew the start in 20 games for a 20-10 Midland College team that plays in one of the toughest regions in the nation… Averaged 7.8 points per game while shooting 41 percent from the field… Additionally averaged 4.0 rebounds per game… Season-highs included 18 points vs. New Mexico Junior College (Jan. 22) and 10 rebounds vs. Frank Phillips College (Jan. 18)… Scored in double-figures 10 times... Graduated cum laude.

Drake University (2020-21 - 2022-23):
Burns arrived at Midland College after spending three seasons at NCAA Division I Drake University of the Missouri Valley Conference... As a freshman (2020-21), he appeared in 14 games, scored a career-high 11 points in the Saint Ambrose win, pulled in a season-high three rebounds in just six minutes of play against McKendree, and scored seven points while making all three shots he took in the North Dakota win.
