Biography

2021: Carter appeared in eight games, recording 18 tackles and 4.5 for a loss.  He recorded a pair of tackles and a sack against West Texas A&M.  He had a season-high four tackles against Eastern New Mexico.
 
Spring 2021: Carter played in five games including a switch to offensive line where he started four games at center.  Recorded three tackles in season opener against Southern Nazarene before moving to offensive line for the first time in his career.

2019: Carter played in nine games making eight tackles as a sophomore.

2018: Carter played in 10 games as a redshirt freshman, recording four solo and 12 total tackles on the season. He had a season-high three tackles against Texas A&M - Commerce. He made 0.5 tackles-for-loss against Angelo State.

2017: Redshirted season.
