Biography

2021:Ward started all 11 games in 2021, making 43 tackles and recording three interceptions.  He had seven tackles, an interception, and forced a fumble against West Texas A&M.  Ward picked off a pass in back-to-back weeks against Lincoln and Angelo State.  He finished the season with seven tackles at Midwestern State and eight against Oklahoma Baptist in the team’s bowl game.
 
Spring 2021: Ward made five starts as a junior.  He started the season strong with a four-tackle performance against Southern Nazarene.  The following week, Ward became the second player in program history with two interceptions in a game while also making four tackles.  At Western New Mexico, Ward returned a blocked extra point for a two-point conversion.  He finished the season with 10 tackles.

2019: Ward played in four games making one tackle for loss against Wayland Baptist as a sophomore.

2018: Ward played in eight games his freshman season, making five tackles on the season.
