Ouachita Baptist (2024-2025):
In two seasons he appeared in 15 games, completed 110-of-202 passes for 1,531 yards and 10 touchdowns, and rushed 105 times for 434 yards and eight touchdowns... 2025: Appeared in six games, completed 70-of-125 passes for 1,016 yards and seven touchdowns, and ran 56 times for 195 yards and three touchdowns... Nate TenBarge had a solid night as well with 13 completions for 248 yards in the air and four TD passes; TenBarge put a punctuation mark on the game with a three-yard TD run in the fourth quarter as well during a 41-21 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State (Sept. 13)... Named to the 2025 Great American Conference (GAC) Academic Honor Roll... 2024: Played in nine games and made three starts at quarterback with three wins as a true freshman... Completed 40-of-77 passes for 515 and three touchdowns, and ran it 49 times for 239 yards and five touchdowns... Made the Ouachita Dean's List in both of the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.
High School:
Played receiver, defensive back, and quarterback at Prosper... As a senior, he was named District 5-6A MVP after recording 1,859 passing yards, 18 passing touchdowns, 769 rushing yards, and 12 rushing touchdowns... TenBarge helped lead the Eagles to an undefeated run through District 5-6A and an appearance in the regional semifinals during his senior season... October 2023: Prosper got themselves on the board against Boyd, but Boyd never followed suit. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 47-0 win over the Broncos. Nathan Tenbarge continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 147 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes... November 2023: With a playoff game on the line, the Prosper Eagles rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against Lake Highlands as Prosper made off with a 44-24 victory. Nathan Tenbarge looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 157 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries... Heading into 2023 Texas High School Football Playoffs: The offensive line wasn’t the only thing on the Eagles’ offense undergoing a transition. They also had to help break in a new quarterback in senior Nathan TenBarge, a converted receiver. “He’s a really good guy and I appreciate the stuff that he does, especially behind the scenes and the work that he puts in,” Cahill said of TenBarge. “It’s astonishing and it’s impressive.” TenBarge has proven his worth behind his line, completing 57 percent of his passes for 1,524 yards and 15 touchdowns. “Our sophomore year, he ended up having to get thrown into a game against McKinney Boyd because our quarterback went down, so that was really his first experience on varsity at quarterback,” Davis said. “I’m not going to lie, it didn’t go too good, but he’s been working hard. “His junior year, just in the background, getting in some work, and then this offseason and coming into his senior year, he’s worked real hard, learning everything about the position.”
