Biography

2021: Barnett played in 10 games as a junior, making 46 tackles and intercepting one pass.  Twice he had a season-high of eight tackles, both on the road.  The first time was against Abilene Christian and the second at Midwestern State.  Had had an interception and five tackles in the bowl game against Oklahoma Baptist.
 
Spring 2021: Played in five games as part of the Falcons secondary.  Barnett made five tackles, recorded a sack, and recovered a fumble at Texas A&M - Kingsville.  He finished the year with nine tackles.

Played sophomore year MT. SAC finishing with 48 tackles and a sack.  He also had two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, and a pair of blocked kicks as a sophomore.  Spent freshman season at Laney College where he recorded 28 tackles and an interception.
