Biography

East Tennessee State (2025):
2025 Season (RS-Junior) - In his lone season with the Bucs, Eichelberger played in all 12 games for the Blue and Gold... For the season, Eichelberger ran the ball 70 times for 296 yards and three touchdowns... He averaged 4.2 yards per carry in 2025... He also caught 10 passes for 56 yards...His best game came in the season-opening win over Murray State where he ran for 54 yards and a pair of touchdowns on eight carries... Also topped 50 yards rushing against VMI in mid-October... Rushed for a touchdown in ETSU's win over Elon on September 21.

Grand Valley State (2022-2024):
Eichelberger came to ETSU after spending the last few seasons with Grand Valley State in Michigan... Eichelberger built a significant resume before his arrival at the FCS level... During his time at Grand Valley State Lakers, he ran for 1,044 yards and averaged 5.5 yards per carry. His production in Allendale, Michigan, established him as a reliable threat on the ground well before he transferred to the Southern Conference... The 5-foot-10, 225-pound back put together a standout performance in 2024... He earned First-Team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) honors that fall after leading the Lakers in rushing... In 2024, Eichelberger was the Lakers' leading rusher, totaling 789 yards to go with nine rushing scores... Averaging 5.2 yards per carry, Eichelberger surpassed 100 yards on the ground three times in 2024, including a 129-yard, two-touchdown performance against West Florida in late September... As a pass catcher, Eichelberger hauled in 12 passes for 108 yards and a pair of touchdowns... In his first season of collegiate action in 2023, Eichelberger toted the ball 38 times for 255 yards and two touchdowns to go along with three receptions for 35 yards... Two-time Conference Champs in the GLIAC... Two-time member of the Dean's List... 2024: Earned All-GLIAC honors... Played in all 13 games... Rushed for 833 yards and nine touchdowns on 152 carries... Hauled in 12 passes for 108 yards and two TDs... Ranked second in the GLIAC in rushing yards (833), rushing yards per game (60.6 ypg) and rushing TDs (8)... Rushed 18 times for 119 yards and two TDs vs. Central State (9/5)... Hauled in one pass for four yards... Toted the ball 14 times for 94 yards at CSU-Pueblo (9/14)... Toted the ball 13 times for 41 yards and one TD vs. UW-La Crosse (9/21)... Named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week after rushing  15 times for 129 yards and two TDs vs. West Florida (9/28)... Rushed for 104 yards on 13 carries and caught five passes for 33 yards and two TDs at Davenport (10/5)... Toted the ball 10 times for 58 yards and a TD vs. NMU (10/12)... Rushed seven times for 37 yards vs. Wayne State (11/2)... Toted the ball 13 times for 59 yards and a TD at MTU (11/9)... Rushed eight times for 67 yards at Roosevelt (11/16)... 2023: Earned first varsity letter… Toted the ball 38 times for 255 yards and two touchdowns… Caught three passes for 35 yards… Rushed for 30 yards on four carries vs. Assumption (9/16)… Toted the ball four times for 13 yards and a TD at Saginaw Valley State (9/30)… Tallied 34 yards rushing on six carries and caught one pass for 14 yards at Northern Michigan (10/21)… Rushed four times for 27 yards vs. Ferris State in NCAA Playoffs (11/18)… Recorded 31 yards rushing on two carries at Harding in NCAA Playoffs (12/2)... 2022: Redshirted.

High School:
Graduated from Solon High School in Ohio... Ohio Third-Team All-State and honorable mention... Team Captain... Khalil was a three-year starter on our team and elected a captain this past season by his teammates and coaches. He was the team's leading rusher the past three seasons and one of the top running backs in Northeast Ohio... Eichelberger led the Comets with 32 carries and a total of 238 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns as the Comets traveled to Medina to face the Bees in their first Greater Cleveland Conference game during the first weekend of October 2020... The next weekend saw Eichelberger ran wild, rushing for 238 yards and three touchdowns as the 12-seeded Solon Comets began the OHSAA playoffs against the 5-seeded St. Ignatius Wildcats on Friday, Oct. 9, at Baldwin Wallace’s George Finnie Stadium.
