Biography

2025 (First-Year):
Played in all 14 games as a true freshman and handled every punt for the Falcons... Punted 44 times for 1,827 yards, good for an average of 41.52 yards per punt.... Had eight punts of at least 50 yards and had a long punt of 68 yards... Pinned the opponent inside the 20-yard line seven times, doing so at least twice in three separate games... Also kicked off four times for 238 yards vs. Sul Ross State (Nov. 15)... Was 1-for-1 passing on the season for 23 yards, and was 1-for-2 passing on two-point conversion attempts... In his first-ever collegiate game vs. No. 5 Central Oklahoma (Aug. 30), Cabello punted six times for 231 yards, a season-high in both categories. His longest punt rolled down for 64 yards and was one of three punts that pinned the Bronchos inside their own 20-yard line. Cabello also finished off a two-point conversion with a screen pass to tight end Caleb Sedegan to give UTPB a 21-14 lead in the third quarter... In the final five minutes of the first quarter vs. Eastern New Mexico (Nov. 8), a fake punt by the Falcons on fourth-and-six saw another pass from Cabello, who this time passed it to linebacker Tristan Exline for 23 yards to get UTPB down to the 30-yard line and continue the scoring drive... Boomed a season-long 68-yard punt to flip the field in the second quarter in the win vs. SRSU... Had two 50-plus yard punts (52 yards, 53 yards) in the same game for the first time in his career to help UTPB earn its first playoff win in program history over Colorado State Pueblo (Nov. 22).

Moe and Gene Johnson High School:
Two-time All-District (1 First-Team; 1 Second-Team) punter... First-Team Preseason Central Texas... Had a 40.2-yard punting average... Helped his team advance to the third round of the playoffs for the first time in school history... Also played soccer in high school.
