Biography

Spring 2026:
Transferred to UTPB... Named to the Spring 2026 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Saddleback College (2024-2025):
2025: Played at Saddleback College, recording 38 total tackles, two sacks, and three fumble recoveries during his sophomore stint... Lopez finished second on the team with 38 total tackles and tied for third on the team with six tackles for loss... He also was second on the team with five pass breakups while collecting two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries... Forced and recovered a fumble in a 31-10 victory over Palomar College (10/26), Saddleback's fifth straight win... Recovered an interception in a 48-7 victory over Southwestern College (11/1), Saddleback's sixth straight win... Tied his season-high with four solo tackles and added a 12-yard sack, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in a 49-7 win over El Camino College (11/8), helping Saddleback win its seventh straight game and win the National Division Southern League championship... Totaled four tackles (1 solo, 3 assisted) as he helped Saddleback advanced to the Southern California Regional Finals with a 58-28 victory over Mt. San Antonio College (11/29)... Member of the No. 5 JUCO in the nation... 2024: Played in nine games for the Bobcats during his first season... During his freshman campaign, Lopez recorded 21 total tackles and three tackles for loss with four pass breakups and two blocked punts... Led the Bobcats in total tackles with eight, as well as two tackles for loss and a sack as the Saddleback College Bobcats defeated the Grossmont College Griffins 44-0 at Saddleback College Stadium on Oct. 26. After Grossmont’s third drive, DB Lopez got his hands out and blocked a Grossmont punt with 9:41 remaining in the first quarter... Had his second block punt of the season, stepping in front of a Hornet punt and getting his hands on the ball as the Bobcats recovered the ball at the Fullerton 17 yard-line. The Saddleback football team defeat Fullerton College, 33-31, on Saturday afternoon in Fullerton (Nov. 9). It was the first win against the Hornets since 2016.

Edison HS:
Lettered in football and lacrosse at Edison High School before graduating in 2023... While at EHS, Lopez was an All-Sunset League First-Team selection in lacrosse and was the Linebacker of the Year in football... Football Awards: 2023 Linebacker of the Year and 2x First-Team All-League (2022-2023).
