2025 (Redshirt Junior):
Saw action in eight contests... Totaled five catches for 65 yards... Had a season-best two catches for 21 yards in his first action of the year at Adams State (Sept. 6), and then in his next game he caught a season-long 36-yard pass thrown from Solomon James in the fourth quarter vs. Midwestern State (Sept. 27)... Had at least one catch in four of his first five games played.

New Mexico Miliary Institute:
Had 35 catches for 456 Yards and three touchdowns at NMMI. 

Personal:
Brother, Noah Nunez, played baseball at Diego's previous school, New Mexico Military Institute.
