Marquee Allison

Marquee Allison enters his third season as an assistant coach at UT Permian Basin, taking over as running backs coach.  In his first season working with the running backs, he coached a group that rushed for 75 yards per game and found the end zone three times in five games.  The Falcons saw the breakout of freshman Garrett Loudermilk who assumed the starting role late in the season and led the team with 181 rushing yards along with a touchdown.  In 2019, Allison helped coach the Falcons to the most prolific rushing attack in program history while working with the tight ends and fullbacks.  His position groups also caught three touchdown passes and blocked for the record-setting attack.

Allison was a defensive standout in his three years at UTPB.  While mostly playing linebacker, Allison also spent some time on the offensive side of the ball in 2017.  Allison had an outstanding 2018 with 63 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and five sacks.  In 2017, he recorded 15 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a fumble recovery while contributing 156 yards and two touchdowns offensively.
