Jordan Moore

A rising star in the coaching industry, Jordan Moore joined the UT Permain Basin football staff for his first season as the Nickels/Stars Coach in 2025.

In Moore's first season at UTPB (2025), the Falcon's made the NCAA Division II Playoffs for the second time in program history and advanced to the Super Region Final (NCAA Quarterfinals) for the first time in program history. UTPB finished the season 11-3 overall, setting a program record for wins in a single season while also earning the first two playoff wins in program history, and was in a three-team tie for second in the Lone Star Conference with a 7-2 record. Moore coached honorable mention all-conference nickelback Kendrick Jones.

Moore came to UTPB from Murray State University. Coach Moore joined the Racers staff as a Defensive Analyst with the secondary for the 2024 season.

Moore was a 4-star recruit at Yoakum High School in 2018 and signed with Texas A&M. He appeared in four games with the Aggies during his freshman season, primarily on special teams. He first transferred to Houston in 2019 and played nine games, with one start at nickel for the Cougars. He appeared in six games for Houston in 2020 as a linebacker before transferring to Kilgore College. Moore later transferred to Florida A&M for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, where he was voted a member of the Leadership Council and finished his playing career as a linebacker.
