The 2026 season will mark the first in Odessa, Texas, for running backs coach Jeremiah Taylor.
Taylor came to Odessa after spending the 2025 season on staff at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia, where he was an assistant defensive line coach. Taylor spent the 2024 season on staff at Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas, where he coached the running backs. In 2023, Taylor coached the running backs at McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois, and the 2022 season saw Taylor coaching the running backs at Virginia Universit of Lynchburg. He coached in 2021 as the defensive line/quality control coach at Fort Scott Community College.
Taylor began his college football career at Yuba College in California and finished at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
Following his playing career, Taylor began coaching at the prep level, starting at Arkadelphia High School where he coached from 2015 to 2020, which includes a 2017 4A Arkansas Football State Championship.
Taylor attended Henderson State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 2012.Â
