2024 (Graduate Student):
Appeared in two games... Named to the Spring 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2023 (Senior):
Played in 10 games... Had 27 solo tackles with 11 assists for 38 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss and forced a fumble... Recorded a career-high 10 tackles vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville (Sept. 30)... Picked off a pass returned it 24 yards against Western New Mexico (Nov. 4).

Personal:
Champ and his brothers, Caimon, Crimson and Canden, all played football together at UTPB in 2025.
