Biography

2019: Leake played in seven games on both sides of the ball at quarterback and cornerback as a freshman. He set school records for rushing yards in a game by a quarterback with 136 against Western New Mexico and the longest play in school history, an 88-yard touchdown run in the same game. He finished the season with 291 passing yards and a touchdown while running for 207 yards and a touchdown. Defensively Leake finished with six tackles including five in the season finale against Texas A&M – Kingsville and forced a fumble at Texas A&M – Commerce.

High School: Leake was named a Two-Star prospect by 247Sports. He threw for 2,125 yards and 18 touchdowns. Leake also ran for 1,304 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns while leading the number one offense in Dallas-Fort Worth.
