Biography

2019: Batts played in nine games making eight tackles as a freshman. He had a season-high three tackles in the season opener against Wayland Baptist.

High School: Batts was named the All-District Utility Player of the Year after throwing for 1,339 yards on 82-of-144 passing and 17 touchdowns his senior season at LBJ HS. He also had 154 carries for 909 yards and 16 touchdowns. On defense, he made 25 tackles, scored a touchdown, made an interception, and forced a fumble.
