Biography

2025 (Redshirt Senior):
Played in all 14 games and started in each of the final 10 games of the season (nose guard), including all three playoff games... Totaled 24 tackles on the season and was tied for sixth on the team with 17 assisted tackles... Was also tied for sixth on the squad with 4.5 tackles for loss, and was tied for fifth with 2.0 sacks... Had at least one tackle in 12 games and had at least three tackles in five games... Beginning at  Western New Mexico (Nov. 1), Bedford had at least one tackle for loss in three of four games and had one sack in two of three games.. Also totaled a career-high 2.0 tackles for loss with a nine-yard sack, both during the third quarter, in the win at WNMU... Had a three-yard sack in the first quarter during his Senior Day vs. Sul Ross State (Nov. 15)... Totaled a career-high four tackles, including a tackle for loss that resulted in his first-career forced fumble as No. 10-ranked UTPB earned its first playoff win in program history with a 37-24 victory at No. 4-ranked and No. 3-seeded Colorado State Pueblo (Nov. 22)... Followed that up with three tackles as No. 10 UTPB defeated No. 15 Western Colorado 21-15 in the second round of the playoffs (Nov. 29).

2024 (Redshirt Junior):
Appeared in 11 games... Totaled 10 tackles... Had 2.5 tackles for loss... Had two sacks.

2023 (Redshirt Sophomore):
Played in nine games... Had five solo tackles with eight assists for 13 total tackles, three tackles for a loss and a quarterback sack.

2022 (Redshirt Freshman):
Saw action vs. Eastern New Mexico (Oct. 29).

2021 (First-Year):
Made his collegiate debut against Angelo State (Oct. 16).
 
South Oak Cliff High School:
Bedford was named a First-Team All-District 6-5A defensive lineman at South Oak Cliff.
