Biography
2026 (Redshirt Freshman):
Was 0-1 in 11 appearances... Allowed a 7.36 ERA, a 1.64 WHIP, 11 hits, 14 total runs, 12 earned runs, 13 walks, 13 strikeouts, and a .204 opponents' batting average... Was one of three players on the team with a save... Led the team in WHIP and opponents' batting average... He finished the game on the mound in five game this season... Did not allow an earned run in his first five appearances (3.2 innings) of the season... Finished off the final 1.1 innings allowing no hits, no runs, two walks and two strikeouts in an 8-3 win in game three at St. Edward's (Feb. 21)... Worked around back-to-back hit by pitches with two outs to work a scoreless bottom of the sixth inning in a 12-4 win in game two at Eastern New Mexico (Mar. 7)... Pitched the final 1.2 innings allowing one hit, no runs, two walks and two strikeouts to earn the save in a 6-3 win in game three vs. Cameron (Mar. 14). With two runners on after a walk and a single and facing a full count with one out in the seventh inning, a great breaking pitch by George froze the batter for out number two. Lastly, with the two runners now in scoring position after a wild pitch and with another full count at the plate, George buried another breaking pitch and got the swing and a miss to end the game... Recorded the final four outs in game three at Oklahoma Christian (Apr. 10) without allowing a run (1.1 innings, 1 hit, 0 runs, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts) in the first game of the day on Friday, and made an appearance in both games on the day, allowing two hits, one run and one walk across 2.1 total innings... Got a 4-6-3 double play on his first pitch of the game to end the second inning, pitched a scoreless third inning, and did not allow his first hit until with two outs in the fourth inning in game two of the final series of the season at Lubbock Christian (Apr. 25). Despite giving up back-to-back singles and a run in the fourth inning, George still struck out the side in the inning. He then pitched a scoreless inning without giving up a hit again in the bottom of the fifth. He finished by allowing three hits, three runs, zero walks, two hit by pitches and four strikeouts in 4.2 innings to again finish out the game in his final appearance of the season... Named to the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll (four straight semesters).
2025 (First-Year):
Redshirted... Named to the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA for both semesters.

Was First-Team All-District and Honorable Mention All-State in 2022... Was First-Team All-District and Second-Team All-State in 2023... Was First-Team All-District, District MVP, First-Team All-State, a San Antonio All-Star and team captain in 2024... Was Academic All-State in both 2023 and 2024... Team was 2023 District Champion, Regional Champion and a State finalist... Team also won 2024 District Championship... Also played basketball in high school.
