Biography

2026 (Redshirt Sophomore):
Was 0-2 in two starts and 11 appearances... Allowed an 8.37 ERA, 36 hits, 26 total runs, 22 earned runs, 13 walks and 13 strikeouts in 23.2 innings pitched... Was sixth on the team in innings pitched... Was UTPB's was effective pitcher in the game at Eastern New Mexico (Mar. 7), allowing six hits, one run, one walk and three strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work. Cabral came in to pitch with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the second inning and got a swinging strikeout to limit the damage and keep UTPB in the game. Cabral proceeded to put up several zeros that gave UTPB a chance to stay in the game... Again came in with the bases loaded, this time in the bottom of the sixth inning against Oklahoma Christian (Apr. 9). Cabral got three straight outs to leave the bases loaded and spoil the golden opportunity for the Eagles. Cabral successfully held the Eagles at bay, not allowing a hit in his first three innings. Unfortunately, Cabral would take the loss after giving up the winning run in the ninth inning. In all, he allowed just two hits, one run and one walk in 3.2 innings... Earned the start during UTPB's final series opener of the season at Lubbock Christian Apr. 24) and allowed four hits, four runs and four walks in the first four innings of what would go on to be the final victory of the season for the Falcons... Named to the Fall 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
