2026 (Junior):
Was 0-5 in six starts and 16 appearances... Allowed 53 hits, 44 total runs, 40 earned runs, 35 walks and 27 strikeouts in 34.2 innings pitched... Made the most appearances on the team, was third in innings pitched, and was tied for third in strikeouts... Was UTPB’s opening day starter against No. 12 Angelo State (Jan. 30). Hernandez ultimately threw 87 pitches and bounced back after the home run to record three straight punchouts and strikeout the side in the first inning. He then tossed a 1-2-3 second inning and totaled seven strikeouts through four innings after again striking out the side in the fourth. Hernandez finished with just three hits allowed in his four innings, but also allowed four walks and four runs against the Rams... Gave his team a chance to win after finishing with 83 pitches and six innings pitched allowing three runs, nine hits, two walks and three strikeouts in the series finale at Texas A&M-Kingsville (Feb. 16)... Coming in relief in the first inning, Hernandez was the most effective Falcon pitcher, taking 4.2 innings off the board while allowing four hits and just three runs in the series opener vs. West Texas A&M (Feb. 27)... Pitched two scoreless inning to start the game and pitched the first five innings allowing six hits, three total runs, two earned runs, six walks and four strikeouts for UTPB in game two vs. Cameron (Mar. 13)... As a relief pitcher he pitched at least an inning and did not allow a run in one inning at UT Dallas (Mar. 21), in one inning vs. Sul Ross (Apr. 2), in one inning at Oklahoma Christian (Apr. 9), and in two innings vs. No. 17 St. Mary's (Apr. 17)...Made two relief appearances in the series at UT Dallas (Mar. 21-22), vs. Sul Ross (Apr. 2-3), and vs. No. 17 St. Mary's (Apr. 17-19)... Totaled 4.2 shutout innings between four straight relief appearances: one inning vs. Sul Ross (Apr 2), 0.2 innings vs. Sul Ross (Apr. 3), one inning at Oklahoma Christian (Apr. 9), and two innings vs. No. 17 St. Mary's (Apr. 17)... Named to the Fall 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
New Mexico Junior College (2024-2025):
As a sophomore he appeared in 11 games with one start, made two saves, had an 8.76 ERA, and allowed 16 hits, 14 total runs, 12 earned runs, 14 walks and nine strikeouts across 12.1 innings... As a freshman he appeared in 12 games, was 0-3 with two saves, had an 8.31 ERA, and allowed 24 hits, 18 total runs, 16 earned runs, 11 walks and 15 strikeouts across 17.1 innings... He also recorded two putouts, four assists and a 1.000 fielding percentage across six chances in his two years.

Baseball team was District Champs every year... Also played football in high school.
