Team Captain... Named Honorable Mention All-LSC... Named to the D2Football.com Elite 100 Team (Squad Offense) for the 2025 season... Gibson was a two-time LSC Offensive Player of the Week and was also named UTPB's Edgardo Madrid & Associates Men's Student-Athlete of the Month for November... Started in all 14 games at quarterback for the Falcons during the season... Gibson was the focal point of the Falcons' offense, passing for nearly 4,000 yards (3,990 yards) and 31 touchdowns for an average of 285.0 passing yards per game... Passed for a completion percentage of 63.78 percent (317-497) and only threw 10 interceptions out of 497 attempts... Was also one of two 500-yard rushers on the team, accumulating 534 yards and 13 touchdowns on 180 rushing attempts... Was first on the team in rushing attempts and rushing touchdowns... Was second on the Falcons in scoring and first among non-kickers (80 points)... Passed for over 250 yards in each of the last 12 games of the season and went over 300 yards in a game eight times, including doing so in all three of UTPB's playoff games... Also had five games with at least three passing touchdowns, had five games with at least four combined touchdowns between the air and the ground, and had three games with five total touchdowns... Gibson's 4,425 yards of total offense ranked first in all of NCAA Division II and the LSC.... Also in the LSC, Gibson was first in completions and passing attempts; was second in total passing yards, passing yards per game, passing touchdowns and efficiency (147.8); and was third in completion percentage. On the ground, he was first in attempts, second in rushing touchdowns, 10th in total rushing yards, and 18th in rushing yards per game (38.14). Among non-kickers, he was second in scoring in the conference... Gibson piloted a Falcons' offense that sat second in the LSC, averaging 461.9 total yards per game and 330.1 passing yards per game, and was third at 37.1 points per game... In all of NCAA Division II, Gibson was second in total passing yards, third in points responsible for (266), fourth in total offense per game (323.1), sixth in passing yards per game, tied for sixth in passing touchdowns, seventh in points responsible for per game (19.0), 11th in competitions per game (22.64), 30th in competition percentage, tied for 20th in rushing touchdowns, 38th in passing efficiency, and 54th in passing yards per completion (12.59)... As a team, UTPB ranked third in the nation in passing offense, eighth in total offense, 16th in scoring offense, and 29th in team passing efficiency (150.01)... 
Gibson had a scintillating debut in UTPB's season-opening win over No. 5 Central Oklahoma (Aug. 30), finishing 17-for-30 passing for 189 yards and two touchdowns, but was equally as impressive on the ground, putting his body on the line and taking off 20 times for 78 yards... In the team's win at Texas A&M-Kingsville (Sept. 20), Gibson totaled five touchdowns and completed 18-of-26 passes for 316 yards and three touchdowns while leading the team with 22 runs for 81 yards and two touchdowns, earning him his first LSC Offensive Player of the Week award of the season... In the home win over Midwestern State (Sept. 27), Gibson was 19-for-26 passing for 269 yards and two touchdowns in the first half alone and would finish the game 21-for-29 passing for 331 yards and three touchdowns... Then in UTPB's huge win at No. 5 Angelo State (Oct. 4), Gibson would finish 27-for-41 passing for 293 yards and the game-sealing touchdown pass, and ran the ball 23 times for 39 yards and three first-half rushing touchdowns (career-high; T2nd-most in the LSC during the season). In addition to earning him his second LSC Offensive Player of the Week award of the season, Gibson's 18 points against the Rams were tied for third-most in a game in the LSC during the season, while his 63 total plays ranked as the third-most and his 23 rushing attempts were tied for first... Gibson passed 28-for-40 for 348 yards (9th-most in the LSC) and two touchdowns, while on the ground, he ran it 17 times for a season-high 84 yards and two more touchdowns as UTPB fell at Western Oregon (Oct. 18). Gibson's 432 combined yards against the Wolves ranked fifth in the LSC during the season and broke the UTPB single-game record... Playing against his former team, Gibson completed 29-of-45 passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns as the Falcons defeated West Texas A&M (Oct. 25) at home... Was named UTPB's Men's Student-Athlete of the Month for November. Gibson started all five games at quarterback and led the Falcons to an undefeated month of November (5-0) that also featured the first two NCAA playoff wins in the history of UTPB football. He completed 131 of 205 passes (63.9 percent) for 1,650 yards and 15 touchdowns during the month, accounting for half of his 30 passing touchdowns at the time, and averaged 333.0 passing yards and three passing touchdowns per game during the month. He completed at least 24 passes in each of the last four games of the month, had 300-plus passing yards in four of the five games during the month, and threw multiple touchdown passes in all five games, including three games with three or more touchdown passes. He also had at least three combined touchdowns between passing and rushing in four of the five games during the month... In the first game of the month at Western New Mexico (Nov. 1), Gibson was 16-for-27 for 323 yards and three touchdowns and commanded a UTPB offense that put up 658 total yards, the third-most in program history... The next week in the Falcons' home win over Eastern New Mexico (Nov. 8), Gibson finished 26-for-42 for 321 yards and two touchdowns and had eight rushes for 27 yards and a touchdown. He also completed a 75-yard touchdown pass to Ben Patterson, which was tied for the second-longest touchdown pass in the LSC during the year... Gibson threw five touchdown passes in just two and a half quarters in UTPB's Senior Day win vs. Sul Ross State (Nov. 15), finished by completing 26 of his 50 passes for 296 yards, and added a 33-yard reception on a double pass back to him from wide receiver Traylen Suel in the first quarter. Gibson led a Falcons' offense that put up 639 yards of offense against the Lobos (UTPB's second-most total yards during the season), while his five touchdown passes in one game were tied for the most in the LSC. In addition, Gibson's 50 passing attempts against the Lobos ranked as the fifth-most in the LSC during the year... In UTPB's first-ever playoff win at Colorado State University Pueblo (Nov. 22), Gibson was magnificent from the word "go" and ultimately totaled five touchdowns for the game (3 passing, 2 rushing). Through three drives against the ThunderWolves, Gibson was 12-for-16 for 181 yards and two touchdowns. UTPB put up 302 yards of offense in the first half, led by Gibson's 15-for-22 for 221 passing yards and two touchdowns. Gibson also added 12 rushes for 45 yards and a touchdown at the break... Then in the Falcons' second playoff win at Western Colorado (Nov. 29), Gibson had a career-high 354 passing yards and had 425 total yards off offense, all while accounting for three combined touchdowns (2 passing, 1 rushing) during the fourth quarter and overtime to help lead the Falcons to a comeback win. Gibson completed 18 of his 21 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns, and ran seven times for 32 yards and a touchdown during the fourth quarter and overtime. Gibson's 425 yards of total offense against the Mountaineers is tied for the fourth-most in a single game in program history. In addition, Gibson's 71 total offensive plays and 38 passing completions vs. WCU were both the most in the LSC during the season while his 51 passing attempts were the fourth-most, his 425 yards of offense were the fifth-most, and his 354 passing yards were the ninth-most. Perhaps most significantly, his 38 passing completions set a new UTPB record for a single game... Lastly, Gibson completed 30 of 41 passes for 312 yards and one touchdown and added 13 rushes for 38 yards and two more touchdowns as No. 10 UTPB's historic season came to an end in the 2025 NCAA Division II Football Championship Super Region 4 Final with a 34-28 loss at No. 2 Harding (Dec. 6). Gibson's 312 yards were the most passing yards any quarterback has thrown for against Harding since November 25, 2023... During UTPB's playoff run, Gibson threw for at least 300 yards and combined for at least three touchdowns between the air and the ground in all three games. Throughout the postseason, he totaled 1,009 passing yards and 11 total touchdowns (6 passing, 5 rushing)... In the UTPB record books, Gibson broke the Falcons' single-season records for completions, passing attempts, passing yards, passing touchdowns and total offense (4,524 yards)... In addition, his completions, passing yards, passing touchdowns and total offense during the season each already rank second in a career in program history.

West Texas A&M:
Started 12 Games in two years at WTAMU... Had 2,341 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns and 608 rushing yards with
eight rushing touchdowns... One of those games included an unforgettable meeting between the Falcons and the Buffaloes in 2023 that featured a high-scoring offensive shootout in which UTPB won 41-40 in overtime at home. Despite the loss, Gibson had himself a day, going 23-of-26 for 197 yards and three touchdowns passing while rushing for 123 yards off 14 carries and one touchdown for the Buffaloes.

Wink (HS):
Was four-time All-State in high school... Piled up over 13,000 total yards and 160 touchdowns... His father, Brian Gibson, led the Wink Wildcats as head coach... Also participated in baseball, basketball and track.
