2025 (Senior):
Had 13 appearances, 11 starts, 57.2 innings pitched, one complete game, a 5-4 record, an 8.43 ERA, 89 hits allowed, 65 total runs allowed, 54 earned runs allowed, 20 walks allowed, and 56 strikeouts... Led the Falcons in wins and strikeouts and was third in innings pitched.. Was the lone UTPB starting pitcher with a winning record this season... Was 13th in the LSC in wins and was 16th in innings pitched... Picked up his first win of the season with a complete-game victory in a 14-4 seven-inning win over Eastern New Mexico (Mar. 8). LaChappa threw four scoreless innings and 117 pitches and finished with seven hits, four total runs, two earned runs, one walk and four strikeouts in seven innings against the Greyhounds... Earned his second win in a row and pitched 6.1 innings allowing two hits, two total runs and a season-low one earned run while walking three and striking out a season-high 11 batters in a 12-2 win at Cameron (Mar. 15). He pitched three 1-2-3 innings in the first five innings and shutout the Aggies in all but one inning... Later improved to 3-3 on the season with five innings pitched allowing four hits, five runs, three walks and six strikeouts in a 23-8 win over Sul Ross State (Apr. 6)... Then in a 10-4 win against Oklahoma Christian (Apr. 12), LaChappa faced just nine batters, had two pickoffs, and got a 4-6-3 double play in the first three innings and finished with 6.1 innings pitched allowing nine hits, four runs, one walk and four strikeouts. It was his second time this season earning back-to-back wins in back-to-back starts... Then earned his third win in as many starts and pitched the first four innings allowing six hits, four runs, four walks and two strikeouts in a 9-5 win in his final road start of the season at St. Mary’s (Apr. 18)... Named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team... Also named to the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll... Made the LSC Commisioner's Honor Roll in each of his four semesters at UTPB... Earned 2025 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.

2024 (Junior):
Made 21 appearances from the mound... Totaled 37 strikeouts in 39.1 innings pitched... Named to the Fall 2023 & Spring 2024 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
 
Mt. San Jacinto (2022-23):

Made 37 appearances on the mound …  Was 7-2 and had 96 strikeouts in 108 innings … In 2023, moved from the bullpen to the starting rotation with dramatic results … Was 7-1 with 55 strikeouts and a 3.50 E.R.A. in 74.7 innings … Struck out a career-high seven batters vs. Cerro Coso College (Apr. 11) and El Camino College (May 5) … All-Inland Empire Conference first team … Helped the Eagles qualify for the CCCAA Regional for the first time in seven years.

Personal:
As a senior he got to play with his little brother, Timmy (freshman), on the UTPB baseball team.
