Biography

2026 (Redshirt Junior):
Started in 35 of his 43 games... Was sixth on the team in games played... Hit .328 with 20 runs, 38 hits, seven doubles, one triple, three home runs, 20 RBI's, 56 total bases, 17 walks, one hit by pitch, a .415 on-base percentage and a .483 slugging percentage in 116 at bats... Was fourth on the team in batting average; was fifth in slugging percentage and in on-base percentage (among all players); and was sixth in at bats, hits and total bases... Was also tied for third in walks and was tied for sixth in doubles and RBI's on the team as well... Had 62 defensive putouts, eight assists and a 1.000 fielding percentage in 70 total chances... Was sixth on the team with 10 multi-hit games, including a trio of three-hit games... Was tied for sixth on the team with five multi-RBI games... Was one of just two players on the team to record both a four-RBI and a five-RBI game... Also had four multi-run games... Tied for the fourth-longest hitting streak on the team (8 games)... Finished 3-for-4 at the plate during UTPB's second game of the season vs. No. 12 Angelo State (Jan. 31)... Reached base three times with a pair of singles and a walk in game one at Texas A&M International (Feb. 6) and drew a walk in all three games against the Dustdevils... Was 2-for-3 with four RBI's, two runs scored, two walks, an RBI-single in the first inning and a three-run double in the second inning in game one vs. Cameron (Mar. 13). He was then 2-for-5 with three total RBI's on a pair of RBI-doubles in game two and was 2-for-4 with two RBI's on a single in the first inning and a go-ahead triple in the fifth in the series finale. In all, Quintanilla hit .400 (6-15), led the team with nine RBI's and three doubles, tied for the team lead with three walks, and totaled six RBI-hits in the series vs. Cameron (Mar. 13-14)... Hit a pair of two-run home runs and was 3-for-3 with five RBI's and a sacrfice fly in a game at Oklahoma Christian (Apr. 10), and led the Falcons with a .545 batting average (6-11) to go along with five RBI's, four runs scored, two home runs, and a 1.091 slugging percentage for the series at OC (Apr. 9-10)... Hit the second of back-to-back home runs for the Falcons in the first inning of a 17-6 win over No. 17 St. Mary's (Apr. 18). Quintanilla had at least one hit in all four games of the series for the only time this season, and in all he hit .313 (5-for-16) with four runs, two RBI's, two walks and a home run vs. the Rattlers... Had two RBI-doubles as UTPB won its final series opener of the season 8-6 at Lubbock Christian (Apr. 24).

Brooke his foot and did not play.

Los Angeles Valley College (2024):
Spent most of his time as the designated hitter. hitting .352 with 23 RBI's and a .592 slugging percentage... Was 3-for-3 with a home run and three runs scored in a 7-5 win over Bakersfield (4/9/24)... Hit .412 in the Western State Conference with a .500 on base percentage as the Los Angeles Valley College Monarchs baseball team won the 2024 Western State Conference Championship.

Chico State (2023):
One of three true freshman on the roster... Played in 10 games, including a start against Cal State East Bay (4/2/23)... Went 4-for-13 with four RBI's on the season... Had a 2-for-3 day with two RBI's in the start against East Bay

High School:
A 2022 graduate of Granada Hills Charter High School in Los Angeles... Helped lead Highlanders to the 2022 West Valley League title, earning West Valley League Most Valuable Player (2022) and First Team All-City honors... Nominated for Cal-Hi Sports All-State Team as a senior (2022)... Had a .400 batting average with five home runs... Two-time First Team All-West Valley League (WVL) selection (2021, 2022)... Began his prep career at Cleveland High School in Reseda... Was a member of the Honor Roll all four years of high school.
