AS A FRESHMAN: Played in 18 games and started two in his first collegiate season…Scored 16 points on the season, 10 of which came against Dallas Baptist at home…In the Dallas Baptist game he was 4-of-5 from the field including 2-of-3 from behind the three-point line and pulled down a season-high four rebounds.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Started 14 of the 25 games he appeared in…Averaged 4.5 points and 2.9 rebounds a game…Scored a career-high 12 points against Dallas Baptist and Cameron on the road…Knocked down 17-of-24 free throws and blocked six shots.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Cornerstone Christian in San Antonio, Texas.
PERSONAL: Mihai Urichianu was born Aug. 17, 1989 in Bucharest, Romania…Is the son of Sanda and Adrian Urichianu.
