Played in 11 games … Had 25 solo tackles with four assists for 29 total tackles, 12 tackles for a loss (top five in school history) with three sacks, recovered two fumbles and broke up two passes … Had a career-high six tackles with five for a loss, two sacks and recovered a fumble against Western Colorado (Sept. 10) … Tied for 24th in NCAA DII in fumbles recovered … Lone Star Defensive Freshman of the Year … All-Lone Star Conference honorable mention.
