Biography

Spring 2021: Byrd played in three games making two tackles and hurried the quarterback twice.

2019: Redshirted season.

2018: Byrd played in eight games as a junior, making 12 solo tackles and 25 total tackles on the season. He had 4.5 tackles for loss on the year and ended 2018 with four sacks. He had four tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss in the season opener at Texas Southern. Byrd had one solo tackle and three assisted tackles at Northern Michigan. He had a sack in three straight games against Western New Mexico, at West Texas A&M and Humboldt State.
