Biography

018: Brooks played in three games in 2018, ending the season with 16 tackles, two tackles-for-loss and one interception with a pair of pass breakups. He grabbed an interception and made four tackles in a win over Humboldt State. Brooks made a season-high eight tackles and had four assisted tackles with one tackle-for-loss against Angelo State.

2017: Brooks played in nine games as a sophomore, finishing the season with 27 tackles and one recovered fumble. He had five tackles at Lamar. He made a 40-yard fumble recovery on the road at Western New Mexico. Brooks made seven tackles and two tackles-for-loss against Texas A&M - Kingsville. He made five tackles against Texas A&M - Commerce.
