HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years at Channelview High School where she helped lead the Falcons to back-to-back district and area championships…Was named the defensive MVP as a senior and garnered first-team all-district honors as a junior…Also participated in track and field as well as cross country…Was named the girl’s cross country MVP…Graduated in the top 10% of her class.

PERSONAL: Jessica Escalante was born May 9, 1993 in Laredo, Texas and is the daughter of Rosa and Manuel Escalante of Channelview.
