Biography

2018: Assad played in 11 games as a junior, ending the season with 13 tackles. He had three total tackles and 0.5 tackle-for-loss for one yard in the season opener against Texas Southern. Assad assisted in two tackles on the road against Northern Michigan, making 0.5 sacks for three yards. He had two tackles and a quarterback hurry on the road at Tarleton. Assad recorded two tackles and a 0.5 tackle-for-loss at West Texas A&M.

2017: Assad played in 11 games as a sophomore, ending the season with 11 tackles and one sack. He had three tackles and one sack at West Texas A&M

 2016: Assad played in 11 games as a freshman, making 23 tackles on the season. He had six tackles-for-loss for 23 yards and ended the year with 3.5 sacks for 14 yards. Assad added two blocked kicks on the season. He opened the year with six tackles, three tackles-for-loss and two sacks for 10 yards against Sul Ross.
