2018: Turner played in nine games as a junior. He had six tackles and a pair of pass break-ups on the season. He made two tackles at Tarleton. He ended season with a pair of tackles on the road at Texas A&M – Kingsville.

 2017: Turner played in 10 games as a sophomore, making 13 tackles with four pass break-ups and an interception. He had two tackles at Western New Mexico. He made three tackles against Texas A&M – Kingsville. He had four tackles at Texas A&M - Commerce. Turner had an interception and two pass break-ups against Angelo State.

 2016: Turner played in 10 games as a freshman, ending the season with 32 tackles and an interception. He made four tackles against Eastern New Mexico. He recorded seven tackles, six solo against Texas A&M - Kingsville. He had seven tackles against Oklahoma Panhandle State.
