EDMOND, Okla. (April 6, 2026) – Due to the high probability of thunderstorms this weekend, The University of Texas Permian Basin baseball team has made the following schedule changes for its road series at Oklahoma Christian University, originally scheduled for April 10-12.

• Thursday, April 9 – Doubleheader (seven-inning game, nine-inning game) starting at 1 p.m.
• Friday, April 10 – Doubleheader (seven-inning game, nine-inning game) starting at 12 p.m.
• Saturday, April 11 – No game
• Sunday, April 12 – No game

UTPB enters the weekend 12-26 both overall and in the Lone Star Conference while Oklahoma Christian (11-27) is one game behind the Falcons. UTPB is coming off its first series win of the season, a four-game home sweep over Sul Ross State University (3-35), while OC lost three of its four contests at ninth-place Cameron University (16-21).
