ODESSA, Texas (February 26, 2026) – The Lone Star Conference expanded its weekly awards in the offseason to include a doubles team of the week in both men's and women's tennis, and The University of Texas Permian Basin tandem of sophomore Lucas Nakasato and freshman Andrew Hunsley have been named the latest LSC Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.

Nakasato and Hunsley won a pair of No. 2 doubles matches, including a 6-4 victory over a nationally-ranked team from No. 24 Harding. The duo also teamed together for a 7-5 victory against No. 22 Mississippi College. Nakasato and Hunsley have now won three times at No. 2 doubles.
