The University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) is accepting nominations for the 2026 Hall of Fame Class, recognizing former student-athletes, coaches, teams, and individuals who have left a lasting mark on Falcon Athletics.

Inductees are selected based on excellence during their time at UTPB, along with the positive and lasting influence their accomplishments had on Falcon Athletics. Nominees submitted for the inaugural 2025 Hall of Fame class who were not selected will automatically be reconsidered for induction in 2026.

Nominations can be made in one of four categories:

Student-Athlete	Recognizes exceptional athletics performance over their athletic career at UTPB. Student-athletes are eligible for induction 5 years after departing UTPB.
Coach	Recognizes exceptional achievement while serving as a coach at UTPB.  Coaches are eligible for induction 5 years after departing UTPB.
Team	Recognizes exceptional performance by a particular UTPB team. Teams are eligible for induction 5 years after the proposed recognition year.
Meritorious Service	Recognizes individuals who have made special contributions to UTPB athletics by those who were not a student-athlete or coach (e.g., contributor, former athletics staff member, etc.)

Nominations must be received no later than April 1 each year to be considered by the Hall of Fame Committee for induction that fall.   

Nominees not selected in a given year will remain under consideration for future Hall of Fame classes.

The Hall of Fame class will be announced early this summer, along with additional details regarding the induction ceremony.
