CSCAA Scholar All-America 2026

2025 Fall Scholar All-America Teams Named

ODESSA, Texas (January 21, 2026) – The University of Texas Permian Basin men and women's swimming & diving teams have both been selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2025 semester. The women (16 participants) posted a GPA of 3.28 and the men (23 participants) posted a 3.32 to earn the honors.

The CSCAA proudly announced the selection of 709 teams representing 414 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2025 semester. This distinction represents the highest academic honor awarded by the CSCAA and is presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps, recognizing programs that exemplify excellence in the classroom while competing at the highest levels of collegiate sport.

In total, 709 teams representing 16,421 student-athletes earned Scholar All-America recognition for their outstanding academic performance. To qualify, each team was required to post a team cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the Fall 2025 semester, reflecting a sustained commitment to academic excellence alongside competitive achievement.

UTPB Head Swimming & Diving Coach Brian Schroeder said, "UTPB's swim & dive team's GPA this last Fall is result of a focus that we have put to do well in the classroom and the balance we have here at UTPB.  I'm very proud of the teams' achievement."

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the first organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
