ODESSA, Texas (July 7, 2025) – The University of Texas Permian Basin men's swimming & diving team and the women's swimming team have been selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2025 semester. The UTPB men's swimming & diving team (21 participants) and women's swimming team (7 participants) posted GPAs of 3.31 and 3.16, respectively, to earn the honors.
In total, 763 teams from 432 institutions were named as Scholar All-America Teams by the CSCAA this semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2025 grade point averages and represent 18,459 student-athletes. To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester.
