UTPB Head Coach
Paul Chavez said, "Today was our best team score of the tournament, so that was nice to see and hopefully it gives us momentum heading into the Lone Star Conference Championship. The weather today was perfect, so it was definitely a course and conditions that played for low scores. We got contributions from everyone up and down the lineup, so that is a good sign heading into the postseason. Will led the way again and is playing some great golf, so we are hoping that continues. We want to ride the hot hand heading into the conference championship. I am looking forward to seeing what we can do at conference."
Next up for the Falcons is the Lone Star Conference Championship. The championship begins on Monday, April 14, from the Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club in Rockwall, Texas.
