ODESSA, Texas (April 3, 2025) – Due to the weather forecast this weekend, the following changes have been made for The University of Texas Permian Basin baseball team's upcoming series at Sul Ross State University (Apr. 4-7).

• Friday, April 4 – Single game (nine-inning game) starting at 3 p.m.
• Sunday, April 6 – Doubleheader (two seven-innings games) starting at 1 p.m.
• Monday, April 7 – Single game (nine-inning game) starting at 1 p.m.

UTPB enters the weekend 9-24 overall and 9-23 in the Lone Star Conference, and is coming off a series in which the Falcons earned a 1-0 one-hit shutout win over No. 3 nationally-ranked The University of Texas at Tyler during game two on Saturday (Mar. 29). SRSU is 4-33 overall and 3-33 in the LSC, and earned its first conference win in over a month with a 5-3 win in its most recent series finale at Cameron University (Mar. 30).

The Lobos defeated the Falcons 11-7 during a midweek clash on Tuesday, March 25, in Odessa, Texas. In that contest, UTPB outhit Sul Ross 14-11, but committed five errors and left nine runners on base, eight runners in scoring position and five runners at third base. The Falcons fell behind 10-3, three and a half innings in and never recovered.
