Jalani Jefferson were honored by Dave Campbell's Texas Football. The 2025 All-Texas Non-FBS team named Exline as Defensive Player of the Year and a First-Team selection. Jefferson was named to the team as a Second-Team selection.
Exline was named to the First-Team All-Texas Non-FBS team and was the Defensive Player of the Year. Exline led the UTPB defense with 143 total tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss that include 5.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles while adding one interception. It was Exline's second Defensive Player of the Year award of the season after also earning the Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Year Award (J.V. Sikes Award).
Jefferson was named to the Second-Team All-Texas Non-FBS team. Jefferson, a back-to-back First-Team All-LSC defender, totaled 22 tackles, including an impressive 3.5 tackles for loss for a corner, and added one interception and five pass breakups.
Exline has been named to the Dave Campbell's Texas Football All-Texas Non-FBS team in each of the last two years. He is the second Falcon to be named an All-Texas Non-FBS Player of the Year, joining
Kenny Hrncir, who was the Offensive Player of the Year in 2023. Jefferson becomes the fourth different Falcon to make the list since the 2023 season, joining Hrncir, Hayden Kelly and Exline.
UTPB finished its 2025 season 11-3 overall and tied for second place in the Lone Star Conference at 7-2. In addition to making it to the NCAA Division II playoffs for the second time in program history, the Falcons earned the first two playoff wins in program history and advanced to the Super Region Final, and set a new program record for wins in one season.
