UTPB Athletics will be recognizing one male and one female student-athlete each month as the Edgardo Madrid and Associates Student-Athletes of the Month. At the end of the 2025-26 athletics season, one male and one female student-athlete will be selected as UTPB's Edgardo Madrid and Associates Student-Athletes of the Year.

Rowe (67-68-71; 206; -7) was then named the LSC Men's Golfer of the Week after finishing third at the Ryan Palmer, where as a team, UTPB tied the program single-round record (273) and broke the three-round record (835) by eight strokes. In the first National Collegiate Golf Rankings (Clippd Scoreboard rankings) of the 2025-26 season, Rowe ranked No. 10 in all of NCAA Division II and No. 2 in the South Central Region. One week later, UTPB as a team ranked as high as No. 11 in the country, tying the highest national ranking in program history, and check in at No. 2 in the region. With the Fall season all wrapped up, Rowe is ranked No. 36 nationally and No. 6 in the region while UTPB is No. 17 nationally and No. 5 in the region. Rowe joins Will Tate (September) as UTPB men's golfer to earn Athlete of the Month honors this year.

UTPB Head Golf Coach Paul Chavez said, "Ioan had a great month of October and is well-deserving of this honor. He set some personal records along with setting a few team records along with way."

Macias averaged 3.65 kills pet set, led the team by 50 kills (113), hit .256 percent, was second on the team with nine service aces, was third with 83 digs, and averaged 4.11 PTS/S (127.5 total points) during the month of October. She led the team to road sweeps of Oklahoma Christian University (Oct. 4) and Dallas Baptist University (Oct. 24). Her biggest highlight of the month was the match at DBU in which she started with zero attack errors through the first two sets and finished with 20 kills in the 3-0 win. It was the second-most kills in a three-set match in the LSC this season, trailing only her own number of 23 kills during the season opener vs. Adams State (Sept. 5). In all, Macias had two 20-plus kill performances during the month after tying her career-high at the time with 23 kills (with 15 digs) in a 3-2 defeat at Western New Mexico University (Oct. 7). In all, she reached double-digit kills six times, had double-digit digs in four straight matches (Oct. 4-11), and had three double-doubles (kills & digs) in October, and led the Falcons in kills in eight of the team's 10 matches during the month.

UTPB Head Volleyball Coach CJ Allard said, "This recognition is a nice reward for all of the hard work Ashlee puts in. Fans get to see her adding value in all six rotations when they come watch us play inside the Falcon Dome, but what you don't see is her leadership behind the scenes and daily work honing her craft that allows her skillset to shine so brightly under the weekend lights. There's still plenty more ahead of Ashlee in Odessa with over half her career still to go."
