2025-26 (Redshirt Senior):
Team Captain... Named to the 2026 LSC Preseason Golfers to Watch list for the second year in a row... Would go on to be named UTPB’s Edgardo Madrid & Associates Men's Student-Athlete of the Month in September, March and April... Became the second Falcon in program history to be named First-Team All-LSC and was also the second to earn two All-LSC certificates in their career... Played in all 11 tournaments and 32 rounds for the second year in a row... Posted a 70.8 adjusted scoring average this season... Finished the season with an NCAA Division II National Ranking of No. 29 and is ranked No. 5 in the South Central Region... Won one tournament (Midwestern State Invitational), totaled nine top-10 finishes, and finished top-25 in all 11 tournaments... Led the Falcons in eight of their 11 tournaments this season and finished in the top-10 in all seven tournaments in the Spring, including the Lone Star Conference Championship and the NCAA Regional Championship... In addition, he finished under-par in five tournaments this season, including a score of 10-under in each of the last two tournaments heading into the postseason... Put together three straight top-15 finishes to open up the season, finishing seventh at the Shootout at PGA Rivera Maya, ninth at The Hrnciar, and 13th at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite... Named UTPB's Men's Student-Athlete of the Month for September. Tate earned recognition for the month of September after putting together a top-10 finish in the Falcons' season opener at the DII Shootout at PGA Riviera Maya. Tate (72-71-81; 224; +8) led the tournament by two strokes entering the final round, but fell back six spots during the final round and ultimately tied for seventh place... Named UTPB's Men's Student-Athlete of the Month for March. Tate led UTPB during all three of its tournaments in the month of March, and finished in the top-10 during all three of those tournaments. The highlight of the month came at the Midwestern State Invitational as both UTPB and Tate (individual medalist) led wire-to-wire. UTPB finished two-under as a team (284-277-289; 850) while Tate was 10-under (67-68-68; 203) and successfully defended his Midwestern State Invitational title from 2025. With a three-round score of 203, Tate's score is a new program record by one stroke. In addition, with two individual championships now in his career, Tate ranks second all-time in wins at UTPB. Tate was named the LSC Men's Golfer of the Week for the third time in the last two seasons after the Midwestern State Invite. During the rest of the month, Tate tied for ninth place at the Shadow Valley Invitational (74-71-74; 219; +3), and tied for sixth place at the Oak Tree Invitational (69-77; 146; +6)... Named UTPB's Men's Student-Athlete of the Month for April. Tate put together a top-five finish while leading the Falcons at both the Palm Valley Classic and the LSC Championship. At the Palm Valley Classic, Tate (69-68-69; 206) shot under-par during all three rounds and tied for fifth place out of 108 golfers at 10-under (second tournament in a row finishing 10-under). In addition, Tate's three-round score of 206 was tied for the fourth-lowest score in program history.  Then at the LSC Championship, Tate (77-69-72; 218; +2) finished in third place after shooting plus-two and became the first UTPB golfer with two top-five finishes (All-Tournament honors) in their career at the conference tournament. Tate's effort at the LSC Championship and all season long has helped UTPB men's golf qualify for the NCAA Regional field as the No. 5 Seed... At the Regional Championship, Tate (73-69-73; 215; -1) led the Falcons and totaled one-under to finish in 10th place. In the end, Tate missed a spot in the NCAA Championships by two strokes. Tate's 10th-place finish is the third-best among all UTPB players at the regional championship while his one-under is tied for the third-lowest par-score in program history at the championship. Tate was also one of 18 players in the tournament with an eagle.

2024-25 (Redshirt Junior):
Named to the 2025 LSC Preseason Golfers to Watch list... Was UTPB's 2024-25 Edgardo Madrid & Associates Men's Student-Athlete of the Year... Was named UTPB's Edgardo Madrid & Associates Student-Athlete of the Month three times during the year (October, March, April)... Was named Second-Team All-LSC for his performance during the 2024-25 regular season... Earned a spot on the LSC All-Tournament Team after tying for fifth place at the 2025 Lone Star Conference Championship... Including the NCAA Regional Tournament, Tate played in all 11 tournaments spanning 32 rounds... Had a 72.47 scoring average, a 72.0 adjusted scoring average, and a 217.10 three-round average... Played 16 rounds of even-par or under-par golf with a low round of 65 at the Midwestern State Invitational... Had one tournament win, two top-three finishes, four top-five finishes, five top-10 finishes and seven top-20 finishes... Ranked No. 90 in NCAA Division II and No. 16 in the South Central Region when the season came to an end... 2024-25 Season Highlights: Midwestern State Invitational Individual Champion, 2024 Runner-up in the RJGA South Central Shootout, Fourth place in the 2025 Shadow Valley Invitational, Fifth place in the 2025 Lone Star Conference Championship, 10th place in the 2025 Palm Valley Classic, Qualified as an Individual for the NCAA Regional Championship... Had a top-20 finish in each of the first three tournaments of the year, including a runner-up finish for which he was named the LSC Men's Golfer of the Week after leading the UTPB men's team to the RJGA South Central Shootout team championship... In the first tournament of the season in The Writz at Mile High (Sept. 9-10), Tate shot 75-78-74 (227) and finished in 16th place... In the very next tournament, Tate shot 70-72-72 (214) and was even-par during each of the final two rounds of the tournament to tie for second place and lead UTPB to a win at the RJGA South Central Shootout (Sept. 30-Oct. 1)... Just one week after leading the Falcons to what was their third tournament win in program history and subsequently being named both the LSC Men’s Golfer of the Week (for the week ending Oct. 1) and UTPB's Edgardo Madrid & Associates Men’s Student-Athlete of the Month for October, Tate started the next tournament with a minus-two and shot 68-69-72 (209) to tie for 20th at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational (Oct. 7-8)... Tate was named a 2024-25 LSC Golfer to Watch after averaging 72.25 per round during the Fall season... Then in the Spring season, Tate led the Falcons in a tie for fourth place, going one-over par during round one and shooting 73-75 (148) overall at the Shadow Valley Invitational (Mar. 3-4)... Tate then shot 79-72-76 (227) and was plus-two during round two to tie for 19th place at the Oak Tree Invitational (Mar. 17-18)... The highlight of the season came as Tate claimed the first individual win of his career at the Midwestern State Invitational (Mar. 24-25) while UTPB put together its third top-five team finish of the season. Tate shot six-under-par during the opening round and led the tournament by four strokes, and kept up his great pace with a minus-one during round two to lead the tournament by six strokes. After shooting under-par during each of the first two rounds, Tate finished at 65-70-72 (207) and was plus-one during the final round, but still won the tournament by five strokes and beat six golfers who are ranked in top-10 of their respective division... Tate jumped into the top-five of two categories in the UTPB record book following his win. His single-round score of 65 during round one ranks as the fifth-lowest in program history while his three-round score of 207 is tied for fifth... Tate is also the third-ever UTPB golfer to win a tournament, joining Sangha Park (2022-24) and Colton Hilburn (2020-22)... After winning the Midwestern State Invitational, Tate was named both the LSC Men's Golfer of the Week (for the week ending Mar. 26) and UTPB's Edgardo Madrid & Associates Men’s Student-Athlete of the Month (March) for the second time during the 2024-25 season... In the final tournament of the regular season at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic (Apr. 7-8), Tate shot 71-68-71 (210), was four-under-par during round two and was one-under during each of the first and third rounds to finish at minus-six overall and finish tied for 10th place. In addition to finishing at six-under for the second tournament in a row, his 68 during round two was his second under-70 round in the last two tournaments... Finished the regular-season being named Second-Team All-LSC and then tied for fifth place at the LSC Championship (Apr. 14-15) to earn a spot on the LSC All-Tournament Team. Tate shot 76-70-71 (217) to finish at one-under-par during the final round, three-under over the course of the final two rounds, and plus-one for the tournament overall... With another top-five finish at the LSC Championship under his belt, Tate is now second all-time with four top-five finishes in his career at UTPB, all coming this season at the RJGA South Central Shootout (2nd place), the Shadow Valley Invitational (4th place), the Midwestern State Invitational (1st place) and the LSC Championship (5th place)... Was selected to compete in the NCAA Regional Tournament as an individual... Was subsequently named UTPB's Edgardo Madrid & Associates Men’s Student-Athlete of the Month (April) for the third time during the 2024-25 season... Saved his best for last at the NCAA Division II West/South Central Regional Championship (May 8-10), shooting one-under during the third and final round to wrap up the tournament at three-under and finish in a nine-player tie for 38th place. Tate shot 71-71-71 (213) to finish at three-under-par and become the first Falcon to shoot under-par during all three rounds at the regional championship. Tate also finished tied for first among the eight individuals playing in the field at regionals.

2023-24 (Redshirt Sophomore):
Played in a total of 10 events on the season... Totaled 28 rounds played... Season-best finish of ninth place at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite (Oct. 2) and the RJGA South Central Shootout (Sep. 25)... His best score was three-under par at the RGJA South Central Shootout... Had a scoring average on the year of 72.3 (adjusted), helped him rank 34th in the region... Tate shot a one-over (72) on the final day of action at the Regional Championship and was the second-highest finisher for UTPB overall in 42nd at six-over (219)... Named to the Fall 2023 & Spring 2024 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
