Super Region Four - week 1

Falcons ninth in latest regional rankings

ODESSA, Texas (November 4, 2025) – The NCAA Division II Football Championship selection committee released the second round of rankings for each of the four super regions on Monday, November 3, and UT Permian Basin football was ranked ninth out of 10 teams from Super Region Four.

This is the first look at the ranked order, 1-10. Beginning this year, eight teams from each super region will make the playoffs and every conference receives one automatic qualifying bid. The top-four teams in the region host.

This year, the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) and Great American Conference (GAC) have been added to Super Region Four, joining the Lone Star Conference (LSC) and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).

From the LSC, Central Washington ranks second in the region while Western Oregon checks in at No. 8, one spot in front of the Falcons.

UTPB has two games left in the regular season and ends its season with back-to-back home games.
