ODESSA, Texas (November 17, 2025) – Colorado State University Pueblo Athletics has announced that tickets are now on sale for this coming Saturday's NCAA Division II Playoff game at the ThunderBowl between UTPB and CSUP.
The No. 5 nationally-ranked and No. 3-seeded Colorado State University Pueblo football team will host No. 15 nationally-ranked The University of Texas Permian Basin this coming Saturday, November 22, at 1 p.m. Mountain Time / 2 p.m. Eastern Time in the Thunderbowl in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division II Football Playoffs.

UT Permian Basin tickets are reserved in Section W on the visitor's side of the ThunderBowl and those tickets can be purchased either online or by calling the ticket office.
UTPB is sporting a 9-2 overall record and tied for second in the Lone Star Conference with a 7-2 record, and enters the playoffs having won four straight games since suffering a 31-28 loss at Western Oregon on October 18. The Falcons, who closed the regular season with a 74-10 win this past Saturday at home against Sul Ross State, are making their second-ever NCAA Division II playoff appearance as they fell 10-3 in the first round of the 2023 playoffs at home against Bemidji State.
Meanwhile, the ThunderWolves (10-1 overall, 9-0 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) won their second straight Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference title on Saturday with a 30-27 double overtime win over No. 22-ranked Chadron State. The RMAC title was the 10th all-time for the Pack and their first back-to-back league titles since winning four straight league titles from 2011-14.
UTPB and CSUP have met just once previously on the football field, as the two teams met during the nonconference season in 2024. In that game, CSUP collected a 40-23 win over the Falcons.
UTPB and CSU Pueblo are one of four first round matches in Super Region 4 this coming Saturday. No. 1-seeded and No. 2-ranked Harding (11-0) will host No. 12-ranked Northwest Missouri State (9-2). No. 2-seeded and No. 6-ranked Central Washington (10-1) will host No. 18-ranked Western Colorado (9-2). No. 4 seeded and No. 7-ranked Pittsburg State (9-2) will host No. 22-ranked Chadron State (8-3).
