ODESSA, Texas (October 28, 2025) – UT Permian Basin football was one of 10 teams from Super Region Four listed in the NCAA Division II Regional Rankings as a team being considered for the postseason.
The first round of regional rankings that will eventually determine the 2025 Division II championship field were released on Monday, October 27. This initial release is not in ranked order. The top 10 teams currently under consideration are listed in alphabetical order.
NCAA Super Region realignment
The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) and Great American Conference have been added to Super Region Four, joining the Lone Star Conference and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).
The top-four teams in the Region host. UTPB has three games left in the regular season and ends its season with back-to-back home games.
