Traylen Suel were named the Lone Star Conference Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, after the Falcons' "Week 2" win over Adams State University.
Graham threw four touchdown passes to four different targets without an interception to lead the Falcons to victory. Graham finished 15-of-25 passing for 272 yards and helped UTPB produce more than 600 yards of offense and score the most points in the conference this season. He had a touchdown pass in each quarter and his longest scoring toss was for 47 yards to the other UTPB player to be named a Player of the Week this week in Suel. Graham also connected on a 51-yard pass.
Suel showed off his speed with a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Suel, who finished with 140 yards on three kickoff returns, provided UTPB with its first points in the third quarter. He also hauled in the previously mentioned 47-yard touchdown pass less than two minutes later.
Next up, UTPB (2-1 overall, 1-0 LSC) will return to conference action against Texas A&M University-Kingsville (1-1, 0-0). Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, from Astound Broadband Stadium.
