Today (Jun. 19) the Lone Star Conference announced the 2,284 student-athletes that earned Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition for the Spring 2024 semester, including 757 individuals who posted a perfect 4.00 grade-point average (GPA) in the just completed academic term.

Of those 2,284 student-athletes who earned recognition, 140 were UT Permian Basin student-athletes – 52 having a perfect 4.00 GPA.
"We couldn't be prouder of our student-athletes that made this year's Commissioner's Honor Roll! Their dedication, both on the field and in the classroom, exemplifies the true spirit of a student-athlete and a testament to their incredible work ethic and determination," said Associate Athletic Director, Hayley Hudson. "Balancing the demands of athletics and academics is no easy feat. But these student-athletes have proven that excellence in both arenas is possible. Their success serves as an inspiration to their peers and a reminder that dedication and perseverance lead to great accomplishments. Keep pushing forward and making us proud! Falcons Up!"
The Commissioner's Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and the spring semesters with student-athlete qualification based on their grade point average for the specified semester. To be eligible for the recognition, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 grade-point average for the semester and be on the institution's sport roster.
