ODESSA, Texas – The UT Permian Basin baseball team's success on the diamond has been noticed by the coaches in the Lone Star Conference (LSC), resulting in four Falcons earning 2024 LSC Baseball All-Conference honors.

Ethan Flodstrom earned the highest honor for the Falcons, being named First Team All-Conference for the second year in a row.

So far this season, Flodstrom has a .397 batting average (seventh in LSC), scored 46 runs, has 71 hits (ninth in LSC); 19 being doubles (fourth in LSC), 3 being triples and four being home runs. He has 60 runs batted in (fifth in LSC), a slugging percentage of .603, drawn 25 walks, has an on base percentage of .502 (sixth in LSC) and has stolen 12 bases (tied for ninth in LSC).

Similar to Flodstrom, Carson Johnson made his second straight appearance on the All-Conference team, once again being named to second team.

During the 2024 season, Johnson has a .335 batting average, scored 46 runs, has 52 hits; 9 being doubles, 8 being triples (first in LSC) and 5 being long bombs. He has drove in 43 runners, has a slugging percentage on .594, drawn 22 walks, has an on base percentage of .436 and stolen 7 bases. In the field, he has recorded 94 putouts and 126 assists (tied for third in LSC).

Mason Hamlin and Jack Haggerty were also named to the second team.

Hamlin during the regular season, had a .381 batting average (tenth in LSC), scored 70 runs (second in LSC), had 74 hits (sixth in LSC); 21 being doubles (tied for second), 1 being a triple and five being sent over the fence. He has recorded 47 RBI's, has a slugging percentage of .577, drawn 38 walks (sixth in LSC), has an on base percentage of .494 (eighth in LSC) and stolen 22 bases (third in LSC). In the field, he has 66 putouts and 126 assists (tied for third in LSC).

Heading into the LSC Championship tournament, Haggerty has .364 batting average, scored 60 runs (fifth in LSC), has 72 hits (eighth in LSC); 11 being doubles, 2 being triples and 1 long ball. He has 41 RBI's, a slugging percentage of .455, drawn 30 walks, has an on base percentage of .490 (tied for ninth) and has stolen 13 bases (tied for eighth in LSC).

The Falcons will be back on the diamond tomorrow (May 9), taking on Lubbock Christian on the road at 6 p.m., in Lubbock Texas.
