LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - Sangha Park saved his best for last at the NCAA Regional at the University Golf Course in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The senior matched the lowest score of the day at -4 (67) to finish third overall at -6 (207).
Park got off to a blazing start, carding birdies on holes 4, 7, and 9 on the front nine. He continued on the back nine with birdies on 12 and 13, before finally surrendering a bogey on 15.
He wasn't the only Falcon to go low on the day.
Will Tate and
Thonsaeng Nunya shot a +1 (72) on the final day of action. Tate was the second-highest finisher for UTPB overall in 42nd at +6 (219), while Nunya was 83rd at +15 (228).
Nolan Otto had a strong final round at +3 (74), placing 71st at +12 (225).
Ioan Rowe was +4 (75) for the day.
The Falcons shot a +1 (285) in the final round as a team, only bested by two teams on the day. Western New Mexico won the team title at -2 (850) while UTPB was ninth at +22 (874). Dylan Arthur of Colorado Christian was the individual champion with a score of -9 (204).
