After the Lobos retook the lead at 10-9 in the fourth, the Falcon offense finished off the game with 11 runs in the fifth. Lobo pitching struggled to find the plate, walking three and hitting a pair of Falcons to score two runs and put the Falcons back on top 11-10. Hall singled to make it 12-10 and Pena doubled home a pair to go up by four.

Matthews brought home Hall before Pena stole home and the lead was 16-10. Matthews would also steal home and Hamlin drove in a run and the lead was eight. Flodstrom capped the rally with a two-run double to make it 20-10.
