THACKERVILLE, Oklahoma - The University of Texas Permian Basin men's is tied for ninth after the opening 36 holes at the Lone Star Conference Championships at WinStar Golf Club in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
 
Lone Star Conference Player of the Year Sangha Park is tied for 16th at +1 (145). Park had a strong second round of -1 (71) after carding three birdies on the front nine. Will Tate is +4 (148) and tied for 33rd.
 
Kongpop Kaikaew and Nolan Otto are two strokes behind Tate at +6 (150), and both are tied for 41st. Thonsaeng Nunya sits tied for 47th after carding a +7 (151).
 
The Falcons are tied for ninth with Arkansas-Fort Smith as a team at +12 (588). Dallas Baptist leads the way at -8 (568) while Leandro Mihaich of Oklahoma Christian leads individually at -9 (135).
 
Tomorrow marks the last round of stroke play with the top four teams advancing to match play.
